Best Microfiber Pillows in India (2026)

A microfiber pillow is the cheapest good night's sleep you can buy in India. Most cost under ₹500 each, they wash in a machine, and they feel soft straight out of the pack.

Wakefit Standard Sleeping Pillow, Set of 2

The short answer

Wakefit Standard Sleeping Pillow, Set of 2

The ₹845 buys a pair. It names its fill as siliconised hollow fibre. Each pillow holds 850 g, and a zip lets you set the height.

After that it depends what you want:

  • Cheapest that is still well made: Rivermoor Simply Basics, about ₹200 a pillow.
  • Most fibre for the money: GADDA CO, at roughly 900 g per pillow.
  • Nicest cover: SleepyCat Cloud, in 300 thread-count modal.
  • A properly plush pillow: The Sleep Company Plush, the heaviest fill here.
  • Side sleepers: MY ARMOR Gusseted, the only one here with a sewn side wall.

Before you buy

Open the pack and count the pillows

A Pack of 2 arriving as one pillow is the most common complaint in this category. Fibre pillows ship vacuum-packed, so a short pack looks the same size as a full one. Count them on delivery, while a return is still easy.

So this page ranks on what is actually published. Fill weight per pillow, footprint, fibre type, shell fabric and wash care. Then it weighs what verified Indian owners report months later.

Two facts shape the whole category. Nearly every microfiber pillow sold here is rated soft or plush. And nearly every one is sold as a pair, so the price you see covers two.

If you want firm neck support, foam is the better choice. Our pillow fill guide sets the two side by side.

We screened the microfiber pillows sold on Amazon.in and scored the ones worth ranking. We read the specs on each listing. Then we read what buyers in India say, across the recent, critical and positive reviews.

A new fibre pillow arrives vacuum-packed and flat. Shake it out and give it a day before you judge it.

GSM measures the cover cloth, not the filling. It tells you nothing about how well-filled a pillow is.

Hollow fibre is literally a tube with a spiral crimp, so each strand behaves like a tiny spring.

Wakefit Standard Sleeping Pillow, Set of 2

The best-specified pillow in a category that mostly specifies nothing. Buy it if you want to set your own pillow height.

  • Fill: siliconised hollow fibre, named in the spec table. That fibre springs back instead of matting.
  • Weight: 850 g per pillow, the second-heaviest credible fill here.
  • Zip: spare filling comes in the box, so you add or remove it to taste.
  • Size: a full 27 × 16 in, which fits a standard Indian pillowcase.
  • Care: machine washable, with a removable cover.

Read the 4.3★ headline with care. It is pooled across a 14-product Wakefit grid. The last 100 verified India buyers average 3.88, and the warranty runs only three months.

Dimensions 27 × 16 in

Rating 4.3★ (83,067)

What’s good

  • Fill is named as siliconised hollow fibre, the construction that resists matting
  • 850 g per pillow, the second-heaviest credible fill here
  • Zip plus free spare filling, so you set the height yourself
  • A full 27 × 16 in footprint fits a standard Indian pillowcase
  • Machine washable, with a removable cover
  • By far the most-bought pillow in the category

What isn’t

  • Only a three-month warranty, the shortest of the few pillows here that publish one
  • Flattening and thin-filling complaints recur in the verified record
  • The last 100 verified India buyers average 3.88 against a 4.3 headline
  • Plain polyester shell, and the listed 1000 thread count is not credible
  • The 83,067-rating headline is pooled across a 14-product Wakefit grid

GADDA CO Hollow Fiber Pillow with Zip, Set of 2

The most fibre per rupee in this list, and the happiest recent buyers. It is also the smallest pillow at its price.

  • Fill: about 900 g per pillow, the heaviest credible figure here.
  • Record: a 4.34 average across the last 100 verified India buyers, with 11% at 1-2★.
  • Care: machine washable and dryer safe, the easiest care spec here.
  • Zip: you can take filling out if it sits too high.
  • Price: about ₹325 a pillow.

Two catches. At 24 × 16 in it looks small inside a normal pillowcase. And the complaints point at batch variation rather than a design flaw: one repeat buyer got a visibly flatter second set.

Brand GADDA CO
Pack Size Set of 2
Price per pillow ₹325

Dimensions 24 × 16 in
Firmness Medium Soft

Rating 4.2★ (627)

What’s good

  • Heaviest credible fill here at roughly 900 g per pillow
  • Best recent record of any pillow here with a full review sample
  • Machine washable and dryer safe, the most permissive care spec in this list
  • Zip closure lets you remove filling if it sits too high
  • Second-cheapest per pillow, at about ₹325
  • One buyer reviewing after a full year still rates it five stars

What isn’t

  • At 24 × 16 in it is short of the 27 in standard and looks small in a normal cover
  • A repeat buyer reports the second order arriving noticeably flatter than the first
  • Scattered reports of it ripping open under-filled, and of poor stitching
  • Neither fabric row names an actual shell fabric

The Sleep Company Plush Pillow, Pack of 2

The heaviest fill here, and openly a soft pillow. Buy it if you sleep on your back or your front.

  • Fill: about 1 kg per pillow, the most in this roundup.
  • Shape: cord piping runs round the edges to hold the outline.
  • Wash: rated for a 60°C machine wash, the hottest here. That matters for dust mites.
  • Durability: the cleanest record here, with almost no flattening reports.

It is rated Plush and has no zip, so you cannot firm it up. Nearly all the bad reviews come from buyers who wanted neck support. About 28% of recent India buyers rated it 1-2★.

  • Rated for a 60°C machine wash, the hottest anyone here publishes
  • Cord piping around the edges holds the shape
  • Sold by The Sleep Company directly on Amazon

What isn’t

  • Rated Plush with no zip, so buyers wanting firm neck support say it is too soft
  • About 28% of the last 100 verified India buyers rated it 1-2★
  • Fibre is called virgin microfibre but never stated as hollow or siliconised

DALUCI Hollow Fiber Pillow, Set of 2

Well filled, honestly labelled and cheap. The risk is not the pillow. It is whether both pillows arrive.

  • Fill: 800 g of hollow fibre per pillow, in a full 27 × 16 in size.
  • Care: the clearest instructions here. Machine wash, no bleach, tumble dry low, fluff often.
  • Record: the last 100 verified India buyers average 4.18, above its own headline.
  • Making: buyers praise the stitching again and again.

Several buyers report being short-shipped, one receiving a single pillow against an order of four. A cluster of near-identical five-star reviews means the rating deserves less weight too. Stock was low when we checked.

  • 800 g per pillow in a full 27 × 16 in footprint
  • The last 100 verified India buyers average 4.18, above its own headline
  • Buyers praise the stitching quality repeatedly
  • About ₹375 a pillow

What isn’t

  • Short-shipping recurs — several buyers received fewer pillows than they ordered
  • A cluster of near-identical five-star reviews makes the headline rating less trustworthy
  • Several reports of the shape deforming within a day, which points to under-filled units
  • Fixed loft, no zip, so you cannot adjust the height

Amazon Brand Solimo Premium Microfiber Pillow, Set of 2

The one pillow here that tells you how much fibre you are buying. That honesty is the reason to pick it.

  • Fill weight: 650 g per pillow, stated on the listing. Almost no brand in this category prints the figure.
  • Fibre: hollow siliconised polyester, named rather than hinted at.
  • Shell: 220 GSM microfibre, the heaviest shell fabric stated here.
  • Size: a full 27 × 17 in.

The problem is the evidence. No verified Indian buyer has reviewed it since March 2026, so nobody can vouch for current stock. Of the last 100 who did, 29% gave it 1-2★, mostly for being too soft.

  • A 220 GSM microfibre shell, the heaviest shell fabric anyone here states
  • Hollow siliconised polyester named explicitly, not just "microfiber"
  • A full 27 × 17 in footprint

  • Machine washable

What isn’t

  • No verified India review since March 2026, so there is no recent read on current stock
  • About 29% of the last 100 verified India buyers rated it 1-2★

SleepyCat Cloud Pillow, Pack of 2

The nicest cover in this roundup, wrapped round the weakest fill record. It also costs about three times the field average.

  • Cover: 300 thread-count modal, which breathes better than the polyester shells everyone else uses.
  • Size: 27 × 18 in, the largest footprint here.
  • Warranty: one year, the longest any pillow here publishes.
  • Zip: the loft is adjustable.

Then the catches. The fill is called only “microfiber”, which is thin at this price. It draws the worst flattening record here. And several buyers ordered a pair and received one pillow, some then hitting a failed return.

A properly made soft pillow at a premium price. The making here is better than the filling.

  • Build: cord piping held by double-needle stitching, the most specific construction claim here.
  • Shell: polycotton at 175 thread count, which breathes better than plain polyester.
  • Durability: a clean three-year record, with very few loft complaints.
  • Care: full instructions, including a 40°C machine wash.

At about 500 g a pillow the fill is light, and this is a lot to pay for it. It is deliberately plush with no zip. Buyers who wanted support say so plainly.

The only gusseted pillow here. A sewn side wall holds height at the edges instead of tapering away.

  • Shape: the gusset is what side sleepers need, because a shoulder needs the extra height.
  • Cover: 300 thread-count cotton, the most breathable natural cover in this list.
  • Size: a full 27 × 17 in, and machine washable.
  • Price: about ₹470 a pillow for a hotel-style build.

The caution is about evidence, not the product. It has drawn very few verified India reviews, and none since October 2025. Nobody knows yet how it ages, so both review-fed scores were pulled toward the field average.

Rivermoor Simply Basics Pillow, Set of 2

About ₹200 a pillow for real siliconised hollow fibre. Nothing else here is close on price.

  • Fibre: hollow siliconised fibre, named in the spec field. Rare at any price, let alone this one.
  • Record: the happiest buyers here so far, with a 4.46 mean and only 8% at 1-2★.
  • Care: machine washable.
  • Comfort: several buyers say it eased neck pain they had from harder pillows.

Two honest caveats. At 24 × 16 in it is the smallest pillow here and looks lost in a normal cover. And the listing is weeks old, so nobody has owned one long enough to know how it lasts.

Duroflex's fibre pillow does one quietly sensible thing. It ships with spare filling, so you can top up whichever pillow flattens first.

  • Spare fill: 150 g in the box, which no other pillow here supplies.
  • Shell: 250 thread-count poly-cotton, one of the better fabrics here.
  • Record: four years of India reviews with no flattening complaints at all.
  • Brand: made and sold by Duroflex, a real mattress brand.

The listing publishes no wash method anywhere, which is a real gap on a washable pillow. The review base is thin and has gone quiet since April 2026. At about 500 g and rated Plush, it gives no firm support.

Fluffing is not a superstition. It redistributes the fibre before it settles into a permanent lump.

What to look for in microfiber pillows

6 things worth knowing before you spend anything.

Fill weight is the number that matters, and almost nobody prints it

How much fibre is inside decides whether the pillow holds your head up in six months. Almost every brand here refuses to print the figure. Solimo is the exception.

The rest print a GSM number instead. That measures the outer cloth, not the filling.

The workaround is the Item Weight row in the spec table. Divide it by the pack count.

  • Under 400 g a pillow: thin.
  • 600 to 800 g: normal.
  • 850 g or more: generously filled.

Be sceptical of the row itself. Several listings we checked claim weights that are physically impossible for a full-size pair.

Look for the word “siliconised”, not just “microfiber”

Microfiber pillows are filled with polyester. Not all polyester behaves the same way.

Siliconised hollow fibre is spun as a hollow spiral and coated with silicone. The strands slide past each other and spring back after being squashed. Plain solid fibrefill has neither property, and it mats down for good.

Most listings say only “Microfiber” or “Polyester”, which tells you nothing. The few that name the construction are usually the ones worth your attention. A brand that bothers to name the fibre is generally the one that paid for it.

Foam works on a completely different principle. Our pillow fill guide explains both.

A zip is worth more than it looks

Loft is the height of the pillow, and it is the most personal thing about it. It depends on your shoulder width and how you sleep.

  • Side sleepers: need the most height, because the shoulder holds the head further off the bed.
  • Back sleepers: need less.
  • Front sleepers: need least of all.

Almost no microfiber pillow publishes its loft, so buying one is largely guesswork. A zip removes the guesswork. You take filling out if it sits too high, and some brands supply spare fibre so you can add more.

The mattress matters as well. Your shoulder sinks further into a soft one, which usually calls for a lower pillow. If you are still picking a mattress, the mattress finder will match one to how you sleep.

Check the wash instructions before you assume it is washable

Being machine washable is the main practical advantage a fibre pillow has over memory foam, which can never be washed at all.

But it is not universal. Among the listings we checked, a couple say dry clean only and a couple more say hand wash only. One contradicts itself, with a spec row saying hand wash while the bullets shout machine washable.

Read the Product Care row rather than the marketing copy. If the two disagree, assume the stricter one until the pillow is in your hands.

Buying a pair? Check that a pair actually arrives

The most common non-quality complaint in this category is a Pack of 2 arriving as one pillow.

It turns up again and again, on several unrelated brands, with buyers describing returns that were collected but never processed.

Fibre pillows ship vacuum-packed, so they come compressed in a small carton. A short pack does not look short from the outside.

Open and count on delivery. If the pack size matters to you, photograph the contents before you unpack them.

Expect a soft pillow, and buy accordingly

Nearly every microfiber pillow sold in India is rated Soft or Plush. “Too soft, no neck support” is the most repeated complaint on almost every one, including several that buyers otherwise liked.

Fibre fill compresses under the weight of a head in a way moulded foam does not. So if you want firm cervical support, this is the wrong category rather than the wrong brand.

If you buy one anyway, the zipped designs let you overfill them. That is the closest this category gets to firm.

The same trade-off decides the bed under you. We weigh it in our memory foam mattress roundup.

How we scored these microfiber pillows

Scores come from published listing data, verified Amazon.in customer reviews read across the recent, critical and positive streams, and analysis of published specifications. Two criteria read the reviews — Durability for whether the pillow survives, Owner Experience for what buying and living with it is like — and their themes are kept separate so one complaint is never counted twice. Where a listing has few verified owners, both of those scores are pulled toward the field average rather than taken at face value. Price is deliberately not scored: this field is narrow on price and price predicts quality poorly inside it, so it is published on every pick instead.

Support & Loft 25% Fill weight per pillow, the footprint against the 27-inch Indian standard, and whether a zip lets you set the loft yourself. Firmness is a modifier: a pillow rated Plush is not scored as a support pillow however heavy it is
Durability 25% Whether it physically survives — flattening, clumping, split seams, failed zips and washing damage in the verified reviews we analysed, weighed against the fill construction that predicts them and any published warranty
Owner Experience 20% What buying and living with it is like: arrival condition, odour, whether the delivered pillow matches the listed size, seller handling, and packs arriving short — plus the recent verified India star mix
Fill Type & Quality 15% What the fibre actually is. Siliconised hollow fibre ranks above plain hollow fibre, which ranks above solid fibrefill that mats permanently — plus gusseting, quilting, cord piping and stitching quality
Shell, Breathability & Care 15% Machine washability first, because it is this category's real advantage over foam. Then the shell: modal and cotton at 250-300 thread count breathe best, poly-cotton next, plain polyester last

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a microfiber pillow and a memory foam one?

A microfiber pillow is filled with loose polyester fibres. A memory foam pillow is one moulded block of foam.

That leads to four practical differences:

  • Feel: fibre is soft and light. Foam holds a fixed shape.
  • Support: foam gives firmer neck support.
  • Heat: foam sleeps warmer.
  • Washing: fibre goes in a machine. Foam can never be washed.

If you want support, look at foam. If you want softness and washability, microfiber is the right category. Our pillow fill guide compares them properly.

How much should I pay for a microfiber pillow in India?

The credible range on Amazon.in runs from roughly ₹200 to ₹950 per pillow.

Across the pillows here, price tracks quality poorly. The cheapest uses explicitly siliconised hollow fibre. One of the priciest describes its fill only as “microfiber”.

Because the spread is narrow and so weakly linked to what you get, we left price out of the scoring for this page. It is published on every pick instead, both per pack and per pillow.

Are microfiber pillows actually machine washable?

Most are, but not all. It is worth checking the specific listing rather than assuming.

Among the listings we checked, a couple specify dry clean only and a couple more say hand wash only. One contradicts itself between its spec table and its bullets.

Where a pillow is machine washable, wash it on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low or no heat. Dry it all the way through. Fibre fill that is put away damp will clump and smell.

How long does a microfiber pillow last?

Less than a foam pillow. Two to three years is a fair expectation for a well-filled one.

Verified Indian buyers report flattening anywhere from one month to three and a half. The usual complaints are loss of height and the fill migrating into lumps.

Two things push it toward the longer end: a heavier fill weight, and fibre that is explicitly siliconised. Fluffing the pillow by hand genuinely helps, and one brand here says so in its own care instructions.

Should I buy a single pillow or a pack of two?

A pack of two is usually the better buy. A bed takes two pillows, and the pair is almost always cheaper per pillow.

But not always by much. On several lines here the pair saves barely a hundred rupees against two singles. On one, the single is such poor value that the second pillow effectively costs ₹350.

Compare the per-pillow price rather than the pack price. And remember that short-shipped packs are the most common fulfilment complaint in this category.

Why do the listings say GSM instead of fill weight?

Because GSM describes the outer fabric, not the filling.

Grams per square metre is a measure of cloth weight. So a “220 GSM microfibre shell” tells you the cover is substantial. It says nothing about how much fibre is inside.

Almost no listing in this category publishes an actual fill weight. If a brand quotes GSM and nothing else, you do not know how well-filled the pillow is.

What size pillow fits a standard Indian pillowcase?

Most Indian pillowcases are cut for a pillow around 27 × 17 inches. A 27 × 16 in pillow is the other common standard.

Some pillows sold here are noticeably smaller. Sizes like 24 × 16 in turn up in this category, and buyers regularly say the pillow looks lost inside a normal cover.

Check the Size row rather than the title. On large bedding listings the parent title often leaks onto every child product and names the wrong dimensions.

Is a high thread count worth paying for on a pillow?

Only up to a point, and only if the number is real.

A 250 to 300 thread-count cotton or modal cover genuinely feels better and breathes better than plain 100 TC polyester.

But the thread-count field on Amazon.in listings is unreliable. Two pillows here list 1000 TC, which is a bedsheet marketing number no pillow shell is woven at. Another lists 50 TC while claiming a heavy 220 GSM shell in its own bullets.

Treat the figure as a weak signal. The fabric name is the stronger one.

How do we evaluate these pillows?

We do not sleep on the pillows we write about. Nothing on this page is our own measurement.

We read the published specifications, then the verified Amazon.in reviews from Indian buyers across the recent, critical and positive streams. Then we say which claim came from where.

Two of our five criteria read those reviews. Where a listing has few verified owners, both of those scores are pulled toward the field average rather than taken at face value. The full method is on our methodology page.

The verdict on microfiber pillows

Buy on fill weight first. It is the number that decides whether the pillow survives, and it is the one almost nobody prints.

Use the Item Weight row as a proxy, divide by the pack count, and treat anything under 400 g a pillow as thin. Then check the fibre is named as siliconised hollow fibre, and that the size matches your pillowcase.

Where another pillow suits you better than the Wakefit:

  • You want the most fibre per rupee: GADDA CO, if a smaller pillow is fine.
  • You want a genuinely plush pillow: The Sleep Company Plush.
  • You care most about the cover: SleepyCat Cloud, in 300 thread-count modal.
  • You sleep on your side: MY ARMOR Gusseted, for the sewn side wall.
  • You want to spend as little as possible: Rivermoor Simply Basics.

Propping yourself up rather than lying flat? That is a different product, and we score it in the wedge cushion roundup. The bed itself is in our best mattresses guide.
